Grid Dynamics, a fast growing professional services company recently named a «Cool Vendor» by Gartner, is looking for Senior Windows Deployment Engineer. We work primarily with large enterprise customers, companies such as Microsoft, eBay, Macys and PayPal, who rely on our expertise in scaling mission-critical systems. To support our growth, we are looking for experienced deployment engineers with strong Windows skills.
    Responsibilities:
  • Have a vision for QA as a critical component of complex, distributed development, and be able to apply that vision to real-world problems, supporting Scrum, Agile, and SDLC methodologies in multi-user cloud environments
  • Lead cross-functional QA efforts, driving quality practices into work products throughout the lifecycle of a project
  • Expert-level experience with QA functions within agile development environments, including working with the developers to ensure quality and testability of the system
  • Build essential relationships with clients business SMEs and their managers, project leaders, and IT staff
  • Ability to provide input on QA aspects of development projects relative to cost, scope, and risk. Work with engineering managers to estimate implementation effort and staffing.
  • Understand the business functionality, business requirements and technical specifications of the application(s) under test
  • Develop, track, and report project level QA metrics to appropriate business and IT leaders
  • Establish and maintain standards (Test Data libraries, Test cases, Test scripts and the Testing process)
  • Ability to write, staff, and execute a Test Plan
  • Coach and mentor junior engineers

    Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of hands-on engineering/test engineering experience
  • Ability to lead a team integrated into distributed Scrum/Agile development projects
  • Very strong background in automated testing frameworks (Lettuce, JBehave, Cucumber, Selenium, etc.), continuous integration (Jenkins)
  • Background in cloud computing, Linux, Python and Java strongly preferred
